As a forward-looking consultancy, they are continuously leveraging historical data to accurately inform intelligent building decisions.
To ensure their clients are up-to-date on construction best practice, Mitchell McDermott wanted to use technology to house, and more easily deliver to their clients, their exclusive datasets and resources — expert briefings, data-led reports and industry trends — all easily on hand to help clients maximise every opportunity. There's now an app for that.
Giving essential insight into the current and future landscape of the construction industry in Ireland, the app helps users keep track of what's important and make profitable decisions based on Mitchell McDermott's extensive market research.
Data-led reports covering industry topics including inflation, planning and programme benchmarking, alongside expert briefings — on apartment standards and the building of data centres, hotels, residential developments and student accommodation, as well as Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) trends — give clients all the key data they need to know.
Helpful tools — a cost calculator and a development stack tool — help clients quickly make informed decisions.
To quickly ideate screen layouts, potential navigation options and key screen interactions were pencil sketched on paper templates. To help visualise the structure of numerous screens and navigation elements, simple wireframes were generated. These were iterated on and refined alongside continuous reviewing of delivered content and data.

Helpful tools aid clients in making informed decisions, quickly and easily. The Cost Calculator helps you quickly estimate the construction cost of your next project, while the more detailed Development Stack tool assesses the financial viability of your large-scale construction project.
The Mitchell McDermott brand colour palette had been developed to complement their brand characteristics — with the colours reflecting elegance and excellence and paying homage to the execution of their projects. The palette provides a range of opportunities to create clear, concise and sophisticated designs while still offering bold combinations. Additional tones of grey were added to allow for more flexibility.
